Motion controls turned everything around for me when it came to golf games. I never had much fun using a thumbstick and buttons to swing my virtual golf club, but using a Wii Remote or something like it was quite literally a game-changing moment. That's why I greet today's news of a March 27 release for Tiger Woods PGA Tour 13 with excitement.
A press release confirms that the game will be coming to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, and that it will be the first game in the series to use Kinect motion controls (expect PS Move support as well). Fans will be able to get the regular game for $60 or a Masters Collector's Edition for $10 more, adding five more championship courses to the game.
Check out the new announcement trailer from EA Sports up top. Oddly, it seems to be set to the music of Inception, or something that sounds REALLY close to Hans Zimmer's film score.
